Most homeowners don’t renovate houses every day. Contractors, architects, designers, and trades do.
That difference can leave homeowners trying to navigate bids, allowances, change orders, timelines, material lead times, design decisions, and construction questions while also trying to understand whether they’re making the right choices.
That’s where I come in.
I work on behalf of the homeowner—not the contractor—to help:

- Create a cohesive design direction for the home
- Review contractor bids and help identify gaps or unclear allowances
- Coordinate architects, contractors, designers, vendors, and trades
- Source and select finishes, fixtures, lighting, hardware, flooring, stone, paint, and other design elements
- Track budgets, selections, lead times, and important project decisions
- Review change orders and help homeowners understand their options before approving additional costs
- Visit the project throughout construction and identify questions or concerns early
- Solve the inevitable design and construction issues that arise during a renovation
- Keep the original vision from getting lost as hundreds of individual decisions are made

What makes my approach different is that design isn’t treated separately from construction.
A beautiful selection isn’t necessarily the right selection if it doesn’t fit the budget, won’t arrive for five months, creates an installation problem, or requires expensive changes elsewhere in the project.
I help make design decisions with the entire project in mind—balancing aesthetics, function, construction, cost, and long-term value.
